Whitney's First Spring Game

Whitney's first soccer game was this morning at (ugh) 9am.  It was a pretty good game played against an all boys team..  We thought we were going to be obliterated, but the score was only 5-0.  It sounds bad, but it could have been much worse!  Whitney sat out most of the first half then came in to play left wing.  After half-time, she played keeper where she did an amazing job!  She allowed two goals, but they were good shots that the most seasoned keepers would have had trouble saving!  Even the opposing coach came up to us after the game to tell us how good he thought she was.

Cheer Competition

Last Fall, Whitney decided she wanted to try cheerleading.  In December, her squad competed in Daytona Beach where they brought home the second place trophy!

Mike's Christmas Present

One of the gifts I got Mike for Christmas was tickets to the Texans vs. Jaguars game.  It happened to be Military Appreciation Day, so we got to do some free stuff.  The kids really enjoyed the activities and Mike loved watching his Texans beat the Jaguars!

Soccer and Band

I really like the new features that Blogger has added since I left.  It's much easier and more user friendly than it was when I left and way better than Live Journal!  I think this will be my new home.
